I believe that "X" means any stamps that is exchanged, whether on the
trail or at a gathering. I think we have counted events stamps as "X".

Also, the gathering on Sunday was the FOURTH "official" get together -
the first was in Portland, Oregon in 1998, then Vermont in November
1999, Rhode Island in summer 2000 and Connecticut in January 2001.
